Seminar Final Project
So, to start out my full name is Jake Logan Keppler, I’m 18, and I’m from Manalapan, NJ. My major is sports communications and for a reason. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve followed sports for my entire life. My main sport was and always will be soccer, I played it as a kid and now just play for fun. If you follow it, I’m a huge fan of Arsenal FC located in London, England. Some other sports I follow include basketball, baseball, and football of course. The teams I support include my New York Knicks, New York Jets, and The New York Yankees. When I grow older, I want to be involved with a company such as ESPN, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, etc. But especially to be a sports commentator; specifically a color analyst. If you are unsure of what it is, think of the two commentators in the booth, one has the lead commentary and one has the depth of the sport, I would like to be the second one. For example, for Fox on football Sundays, the lead commentator is Joe Buck, and the color analyst is Troy Aikman. Another thing about me is I’m such a big dog person. In my life, I’ve had 3 golden retrievers and I couldn’t ask for anything better. Unfortunately two have passed away while one is with me right now. Dark story behind them, since I’m jewish I had a bar mitzvah, one of them; Mason passed away a week before my bar mitzvah. And my other one Cooper, passed away 4 days away from freshman year of high school. The one that I have right now, Jaxon is 5 years old and is living his best life. Every day, I always try my hardest to be the best person I can be but also be the most successful person I can be. Every day, my role model is my dad and always will be. I’ve heard so many times that not only do I look like my dad, I pretty much act like him as well. But I strive for greatness because he actually never finished college, so I try to be better than him but also strive because of how much they have given me. My parents have put me in such a great position that I want to go out and finish what they started. So yea, that’s a little bit about me, and thank you for reading and have a great day!
